Eternal Life and the New Birth
Jesus said "unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God". Being "born again", or the New Birth, is necessary for all men, and when experienced, produces eternal life. (John 3:3-5; John 3:16-18; Matthew 18:3; John 1:12; John 3:36; John 5:24; 1 John 5:12)

John 3:3-5
3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
4 Nicodemus said to Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb and be born?"
5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”

John 3:16-18
16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18 He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Matthew 18:3
3 and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

John 1:12
12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

John 3:36
36 “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

John 5:24
24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”

1 John 5:12
12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
